The Beauty Blogger Tag

Hey lovelies, I hope you all had a great weekend.  I was out with a few girlfriends…no I didn’t fall over and break the other leg but had a fantastic night out, saw a few old friends, made some new ones too!!

So whilst catching up on some of my favourite blogs, the lovely Claudia Marie’s most recent post was a blogger tag, which was a great read she also challenged her readers with her own beauty questions so here goes :

Which of your features do you like most and why?

Wow this is a tough one for me, as I’ve spent many years self loathing and not really being able to love what mama nature gave me. I’d say my lips with eyes coming a close 2nd.

What do you notice first when you meet another woman wearing makeup?

I generally notice her smile first, and her eye make up, I’m always seeing how other girls wear their make up then I get on YouTube and get practising on my sunday afternoons.

On a scale from 1 to 10 how confident do you feel drawing a winged liner?

I’m a strong 7!  Like many of us I have a good days and bad days, but I do have winged envy of many blogger beauties.

Which colour family do you like the most at the moment?

I’m really drawn to dusky rose and pinks at the moment, I guess now the sun is shining more it’s time to leave those dark colours for nights out.

If you’d be a celebrity makeup artist who’d you want your client to be?

As of today Lil Kim!

What is the one skin care item you can’t live without?

I’d have to say my facial oil.  Currently using Mitchell & Peach

Do you remember what your first beauty item was? If yes, what was it?

When I was in my early teens my mum bought me a coral lipstick from Avon and Heaven Sent Perfume by Helena Rubinstein (Yes I am that old!)

What is your message to young girls starting off with make-up?

You don’t have to wear make up, you are beautiful as you are  – There’s plenty of time to experiment with make up but if you’re already using cosmetics then 4 golden rules :

ALWAYS remove your make up at the end of the day!

CLEANSE and not with baby wipes!

MOISTURISE But keep it simple no need to spend loads of money.

NEVER feel you have to wear make for a guy/girl – wear it only for yourself and there are no rules, dare to be different.

So there you have it!  Now to pass it on, I have a few questions for you, I’d love to know :

  1. What’s your favourite perfume and what do you think it says about you?
  2. Contour or Strobe?
  3. What’s your night-time skincare routine?
  4. Favourite Lip colour shade?
  5. Favourite Eyeshadow Palette?
  6. What’s your No.1 make up tip?
  7. What’s your favourite store to shop cosmetics?
  8. What’s your high end brand make up item you’d love to own?
  9. Which celebrity do you feel nails it makeup-wise?
  10.  You’ve got an hour to pack for a surprise weekend away, what all rounder palette and  lipstick would you choose to take with you?

Remember this is all a bit of fun, plus it’s always great to hear from you.  Please do make sure you tag me in so I can check out your answers.

Until next time lovelies.
